Welcome to counselling!

Counselling offers an opportunity to investigate, integrate and evolve. As we come into awareness of our daily lives we create opportunities to live curiously, compassionately and with courage. Exploring the mind/body connection we create unique skills to manage symptoms and diagnoses. Uncovering self-sabotage, stuck patterns, unmet needs and wounds from our past creates space for healing to emerge and wellness to flourish.

To help you get the most out of our counselling work, I have a few suggestions.

  1. Invest the time that is needed for this work. Weekly sessions help establish momentum and carve out the space you need for your process.

  2. Follow the process. Committing to this work means allowing your healing process to unfold as it will. The process can be unpredictable, and there may be times when we want to give up because it's too much, or not enough. See it through and you will feel the change. 

  3. Don’t skip the mindfulness. Mindfulness is a key to conscious living. We will explore ways of practising mindfulness in your daily life. Mindfulness helps shift perspective and creates space for your own innate wisdom to flow. 

Online sessions are available through a safe, encrypted and HIPPA compliant web based portal.
